There are literally thousands of standards, you and your company do have advantages... you already understand the scope and which standards you need to apply with for approval. Or you and your team know you need to comply. However, not sure exactly which standards you need to use design your product.
High Tech Design Safety, LLC has a set of team members with unique experience in leading down the correct path in selecting the proper scope of standards for use.
You may choose to use underwriters laboratory/ UL standards for your product and these might be very specific and work great. In that case, we can help you determine which standards and which guide info is required. Guide info is the details that UL uses beyond the standard, to validate your equipment's unique distinction there and that you will not be complying just to one standard but a set of standards put together into a guide. We know this process and know how to work through it and achieve your results.
You may choose CE marking as your first conformity project. And you need to get through that and understand that clearly. CE marking has become more complex over the past six or seven years. CE marking will include an overall base set of standards whether it’s the standards related to mechanical directive, low voltage directive, or another directive. From there you will find a suite of requirements, which include a full risk assessment for your product, complete documentation, including manuals, labels, packaging, labels, end of use instructions, and liability requirements, that are required in order to complete your project. You need a clear plat for to accomplish these items, and all the requirements for noise and radio frequency emissions and conducted noise omissions onto the power line, any hazardous materials restrictions, any electronic equipment disposal restrictions, packaging restrictions, and certainly the CE mark itself in order to sell your product.
We exist to help you get this done. We often can CE marked a completed sample that is conforming within five days. Often very simple products can cost less than seven thousand dollars to complete CE marking on. An unheard of low price for CE marking for your products in the timeline that is one quarter the length of time it would normally take you get quote from another lab.
Global product standards exist mainly as market barriers and difficulties to you and your product. Allow us to develop a global scheme so you can get your product to market.
